Dr. Peter Zheng has been practicing in Westchester for over 16 years. Dr. Zheng is Board Certified in Pain Management, Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and New York State Certified in Acupuncture. Dr. Zheng did his internship in Internal Medicine at University of Connecticus, residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at University of Rochester and fellowship in Anesthesiology Pain Management at Westchester Medical Center. Collegues through the pain managment rotation during residency felt Dr. Zheng would be an excellent pain management physician and praised him for his wonderful needle skills as he displayed very accurate and less painful techniques. This led Dr. Zheng to do pain management fellowship and he soon became a pain management physician with an expertise in minimally invasive procedures. He started doing Botox injections when he was in residency. It was not until he started to do Botox injections for migraine headaches that he became interested in esthetics and anti-aging medicine. Treating migraine headaches with Botox required 31 point injections, and part of the process overlaps with cosmetic botox injection. In other words, cosmetic botox injection is much easier than headaches botox injection. Platlet Rich Plasma (PRP) and stem cell therapy are both for pain management and esthetics. Those dual applicable procedures led Dr. Zheng to be interested in esthetics and anti-aging medicine. After studying and training, Dr. Zheng began to pursue his second passion of aesthetics and anti-aging medicine. 

Dr. Zheng's training and expertise with botox injection, minimally invasive procedures, and precise injection techniques, assisted him in the transition into his cosmetic practice.
